Useful Tips to Memorize 1 Page Fast
Quran is very clear about recitation, Tajweed, and makharij of words. Memorizing a page fast doesn’t mean ignoring the Tajweed rules. All the tips shared here are meant for those who can efficiently follow the guidelines. If you think you can’t hifz and maintain, go slow!
Let’s skim through the lines to know about very unique ways of memorizing a page almost in a day or two.
1. Split the Page into 2 Halves
Normally, the standard mushaf has 15 lines on a page. The very first tip is to split the page into 2 halves. You will have 7.5 lines in each half. Now split your time into 2 halves. Morning and evening.
Next, you have to start reading the 1st half with Tajweed and the translation too. Read almost 5-6 times with accurate makharij. Make a rhythm or a tune for yourself so that you remember it the same way. Revise it in the daytime whenever you are free. Class the mushaf and read to yourself. If you have even a slight error, repeat the reading 5-6 times again.
This is how you will learn the first half in the morning hours. Do the same with the second half after Asr prayer till midnight, whenever is easy!
Before or after fajr revise the whole page 10 times and record it to someone.
2. Divide the Lines into 5 Prayers
The next tip is to divide the lines of the page equally into 5 prayers. Each prayer will have 3 lines. Now start memorizing 1st three lines after fajr. Revise them till Zohr, after Zohr learn the next 3 lines and revise the 1st three with them. After Asr, revise the previous 6 lines and add 3 more. After Maghrib, revise the old lines and add three more. After Isha, revise all the lines and add 3 more.
The next day, after fajr, revise the whole page together and check if you have any errors or not. After Zohr, recite the page to someone.
3. Memorize According to Lines
The next way to learn a page fast is according to the lines. Stop where the line ends, even if the verse is continuing. Adopt any 1st two ways and complete the page with understanding.
Make sure you recite at least 5-6 times by looking at the lines. This is the easiest way to save something in your memory box.
4. Memorize According to Verses
Maybe a page has 3 verses or 10! It depends on the Surah you are memorizing. So, you can memorize verse by verse after any salah. It is easy to recall the whole verse if you remember the starting and the ending words accurately. The meaning also plays a vital role in keeping the whole verse in mind.
5. Memorize by Listening
You all might recall the morning assembly in your schools where we all used to recite something daily and gradually we memorized it perfectly. It is because listening to a specific thing constantly sends the material to the memory container where it is preserved as listened. So, if you want to learn the page fast, listen to the recitation almost 10 times. When you will reach the 7th-8th time, you would have started reciting the words with the audio, from your memory.
6. Memorize by Writing
Many people say they can keep the information safe in their minds if they have written it down. For hifz also, we at Hifz Academy gave it a try, and it works. Write down the page with your hands and recite it at the same time. You will be surprised to see that you remember where each line starts and ends.
7. Learning the Page in One Go
Challenge your abilities if you are passionate enough to hifz Quran fast. The page that you intend you memorize should be read 10-15 times, the meaning should be in your mind, and the Tajweed should be perfect. Now follow any of the below-written techniques to learn the whole page in a go.

- Read the 3×3 technique. Three lines three times.
Make sure you have enough time for this tip. If you think you can’t focus, or have another task, then use any other tip because this tip needs a good amount of time.
8. Memorizing the Page with Meaning
Understand the background of the Surah you are memorizing, keep the theme in mind, and then start the desired page. Read the summary of the page first and then read the word-by-word translation. After you ensure the proper understanding, learn the page.
This tip is useful in recalling the words with their meaning. You will know what is coming next and what has passed.
